Teams cooked a traditional menu that consisted of hog meat, pinto beans, fry bread, a vegetable dish and dumplings. All dishes were prepared on site the day of the cook-off. The $500 first place prize was awarded to the Drywater-Panther team of Park Hill. The team included Shawna Drywater, Kim Drywater, Jackie Drywater and Elmer Panther. Second place went to Native Traditions of Tahlequah. Team members included John Mouse, Jody Reese, Sharon Dry and Felicia Olaya. Native Traditions received a prize amount of $300. Booter’s Crew took home the $200 third place award also of Tahlequah. Members of the team included James Locust, Shirley Ross, Nancie Ross and Joanne Davis. “I want to thank everyone who came out and took part in the competition.
